Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic and public speaker. Feminist Frequency is a channel that hosts videos, commentaries and analysis of how popular culture depicts women. As of 2009, this determined young lady was harassed on the internet for her website that focused on the gender of videogames. The attack did not stop her from pursuing the project, and instead it bolstered her determination as a feminist critic of media. She has won several awards for her contributions to feminism.
