Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be the best athlete in sport. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also claimed the title of world champion for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles, along with her sister Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents from Houston. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics as a six-year-old in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next eleven years. Biles won the vault and floor exercise at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the top competition levels in the year 2011. The following year, Biles dominated the sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of difficulty for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercises -- helped to set her out from the rest of the athletes.
